How To Edit A 60-Min Interview to 5 Min.

I used to think longer documentaries required longer interviews, and shorter docs like testimonies need shorter interviews.

Seems kinda logical, but that thought has changed for me. Now my interviews even for a short 5 min testimony tend to be an hour and 1/2 long or more. 🤯

Does that sound scary and intimidating? lol

Years ago the thought of having to edit down an hour-long interview to 5 minutes would make me start sweating, but now it’s like no big deal because of the way I go about it. I have several steps I use to make sure I can edit quickly and efficiently.
